Amelia “Millie” Mougianis, 88, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville.
Millie was born in Steubenville on January 26, 1935 the daughter of the late Michael F. & Angela Kirlangitis.
Millie was a proud member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church; Daughters of Penelope; past president of Philoptochos Society; Salvation Army board of directors and the Womans Club of Steubenville.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas A. (Nick) Mougianis on June 18, 2002; an infant son and brother The Very Rev. Archmandrite Frank M. Kirlangitis.
Millie is survived by her children Anthony N. Mougianis (Tara) and Angie Mougianis Kirsch (Jen); grandchildren Alexandra Mougianis (Joe) Codispoti, Nicholas (Holly) Kirsch, Nicole Mougianis and Christian (Taylor) Kirsch; great grandchildren Carson & Brooks Kirsch and Nora Codispoti; many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Friends may call at Holy Trinity Church, 300 S. Fourth Street, Steubenville, on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon with Rev. Yanni Verginis officiating. Entombment at Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Trinity Greek Church.
