Soon the ice will melt, and the blackbirds sing along the river which he frequented, as pleasantly as ever. The same everlasting serenity will appear in this face of God, and we will not be sorrowful, if he is not. Henry David Thoreau: March 2, 1842 God Speed Alicia

Jim, Jodi & Family, I can not begin to image your pain and sorrow. We should never have to be placed in this situation. I will always remember Alicia as a beautiful, strong young lady who was a great friend to all she ever met. Watching her grow as a person and a young cheerleader with the Chiefs her courage was evident from the beginning. Kristina has kept me updated with news from "home" and Alicia was frequently on my mind. Know her pain is over and God has greater plans for her. Her life touched everyone and her death has left a gapping hole in our hearts! Good Bye Sweet Alicia....

Dear Alicia, You will be missed deeply by all you left behind. You have left a hole in all of our hearts but left us with inspiration of courage, strenth, & will. You worried about those around you & always were there for them. You will never be forgotten: you will live on through those whose lives you touched--and you will now be looking out for them: in the stars, wind, sun, summer, winter, fall, & spring. You will be there! The hole you have left in our hearts is large but your memory will help all of us. We know you are well taken care of by the family who went before you. We love you & will miss you!!

  • 09/03/2024

I did not know Alicia personally, but all I hear is good things about her. I graduated from Indian Creek in 1998 so I was quite a bit older than her. I just lost my cousin this past Monday, he was only 22. I just hope and pray that God has been with you and will stay with you and give you strength. I can't understand when young people are taken from us, but I know the short time she had on this earth made an impact, as did my cousin Ross. Just wanted to say my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who loved her.
