Alice S. Billham, 69, of Steubenville, OH passed away Thursday May 25, 2006 at her home. She was born October 16, 1936 in Niles, OH a daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Nixon Ketley. Alice retired from the Steubenville City School System after 25 years of service as a school librarian. She served as President of the YWCA of Steubenville in 2004 and 2005. She was also a member of First Westminster Presbyterian Church of Steubenville where she served as both Deacon and Elder. Surviving are her husband of 51 years Jack Billham; four children Lynn (Wayne) Lukacena of Bloomingdale, OH, Chuck (Dawn) Billham of Salem, OH, Robert (Tammy) Billham of Wright City, MO, and Krista (Mike) McMahan of Maple Grove, MN; 11 grandchildren Joe, Jackie, and Alisa Lukacena, Bethany and Casey Billham, Reid, Jessica, and Mitch Billham, Hannah, Jake, and Cole McMahan; two great-grandchildren Carlee Lukacena and Aydan Manning; one sister Dessie Penner of Weirton, WV; three brothers George, Frank, and Donald Ketley of Kansas; and many dear friends. She will be deeply missed by all. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at Dunlope - Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville. Funeral service will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at First Westminster Presbyterian Church, North Fourth Street, Steubenville. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Donations can be made to the YWCA of Steubenville and/or First Westminster Presbyterian Church of Steubenville.
