My sympathy to Beth Anne and Grammy and the rest of the family. I worked with Alice for nearly 10 years at David HIll School . She liked to play the mean hard hearted teacher but she was a pushover once you knew her. I loved being on duty with Alice or seeing her in the lounge we always had fun. I will never forget her smile and laugh and dedication to her children . I think the pink sweater and knitted cap need to be mounted , framed and donated to David Hill.... God Bless . I am glad I knew Alice. She was one of a kind ! Prayers toi all of you Bill Bennett

I was shocked to read about the loss of Alice in this morning's paper. We began our teaching careers together at David Hill School and reunited for a period of time several years ago when it was going to be torn down. We visited the old school together and viewed our former classrooms. Then we had lunch at a favorite restaurant of hers in Ellet. I am so grateful for that afternoon! I should have known something was wrong when her Christmas card did not arrive the day after Thanksgiving last year . Hers was always the first one we would get each year! She was a good person and friend. I will miss her.

We are so sorry to hear about your mother and daughter. We have been knowing her for years. She attended Justin's wedding and his party for making it into electrian school through the union. She attended Kristian's dedication to their favorite teacher at East High School. She sent us a Christmas Card every year since the kids the left David Hill (Justin's 34 and Kristian's 32) except last year. I thought maybe she was visiting you Beth Ann. I am so so sorry for your lost. The Johnsons Phyllis, Kristian, Justin, Suzannah, Amber, Quest, John and A'Niyah.

Dear Beth Anne, Orrin, Hannah and Emily, I am so so sorry and saddened to learn of your mom's death. There could not have been a sweeter woman to have graced this earth than Alice. After I retired she would send me envelopes stuffed with articles about animals and art. I was in awe of her courage and spirit in the face of the cancer and when I was diagnosed she was a role model for me. Her passing will leave a very large hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her but especially for you and your family. I will keep you close in thought and prayer . May God surround you with healing love. Peace and Love, Ilona Urban
