Alice M. Augustus, 69, of Wintersville died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Trinity West after a lengthy illness. She was born in Steubenville on August 25, 1937 a daughter of the late William E. and Anna Cronin Jackson. She is loved and will be sadly missed. Surviving are her husband Carl T. Augustus; children Ginger Ann Hartman of Mercer, PA, Ralph C. “Rocky” Amabile of Mingo Junction and Earl D. “Chip” Snider of Tiltonsville, OH; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters Ginger Stonebraker of Solon, OH & Patricia Wagner of Cleveland, OH; and brother William E. “Bud” Jackson of Springfield, OH. One sister Elizabeth Jackson preceded Alice in death. No visitation or services. Donations may be forwarded to the funeral home in her memory.

Alice was like a second mother to me. We went though alot to get where we were. She was a great women and would do anything for anyone!! I will really miss her, never forget her, and she will always be in my thoughts. She is now in a better place watching over me and her wonderful family!

Will always remember the great times we had with all of you before we moved to Florida. The last email I received over the holidays from her, she was telling me all about the family holiday dinners and how much she enjoyed it. Alice will always be in our hearts forever....
