Alice B. “Birney” Wells, 93, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Gables Care Center. She was born on October 23, 1927 a daughter of the late Floyd & Lillian Peterson Scott. She was a charter member of Starkdale Presbyterian Church, Woman’s Association and circle. Preceding Birney in death were her husband Roy J. Wells; son Larry Wells; sisters Marge O’Leary & Shirley Scott.
Birney is survived by her son Kenneth (Lisa) Wells; two grandchildren Kelly (Chelsea) Wells & Kera (Sam) Taliani; great grandchildren Brayden & Kylie Wells and Jepsen & Spencer Taliani; sisters Carol Daily & June Davis; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. with Rev. Carl Moore officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
Memorials may be directed to Starkdale Church -OR- Alzheimers Foundation.
