Alexander Ksiazek, 86, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Life Line Hospital. He was born in Bradley, Ohio on June 16, 1927 a son of the late Pietro and Agnes Yuros Ksiazek. Alexander retired from Wheeling – Pitt in 1985 where he worked as a diesel electric mechanic. He was preceded in death by his son Dennis Ksiazek; granddaughter Wendy Stock; four brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his wife Margaret J. Poole Ksiazek; three daughters Deanna Law of Steubenville, OH, Agnes Worrell of Cadiz, OH and Sheila (Michael) Ksiazek-Lee of Smithfield, OH; three sons William (Diane) Ksiazek of Wintersville, OH, John Gibson of Mingo Junction, OH and Walter (Karen ) Gibson of Unionport, OH; two nephews Jerry (Marie) Ksiazek of Bloomiongdale, OH and Ralph McQuaid of Uhrichsville, OH; five grandchildren Joseph Michael Stock, John Gibson, Brandon Law, Ashton Gibson and Justin Gibson and three great grandchildren Michael Stock, Morgan Stock and Alexander Gibson. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClave Funeral Home), 611 N. Fourth St, Steubenville on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.
