Alex B. Alcaraz, 28, of Jemison, Alabama died Monday, November 9, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on September 15, 1987. Alex was a loving father, husband, son and brother. He was an Army veteran and an engineer for Intelligrated. Preceding Alex in death were his maternal grandmother Joann Pettibon; paternal grandmother Maria Montes Alcaraz; cousin Mike Devore and nanny Jane Hicks. Surviving are his wife Erin J. Alcaraz; son and best buddy Phoenix Alcaraz; four brothers Ian Alcaraz of Denver, CO, Bradford Bailey of Ringgold, GA, Christopher Bailey of Ocala, FL and James Bailey III of Jemison, AL; sister Elizabeth Bailey of Chatsworth, GA; two aunts Carla (Dave) Kendall of Mingo Junction, OH and Teresa (Joe) Leek of Mingo Junction, OH; uncle Fred Pettibon of Weirton, WV and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Thursday 10 a.m. with Bishop Larsen officiating.
