Alberta V. Woods, 74, of Steubenville died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Villa Angela Care Center in Columbus, OH.  She was born in Richmond, OH on June 27, 1938 a daughter of the late Albert J. and Myrtle V. Eicholtz Smith.  She was Methodist by faith and retired from the former Colonial Supper Club in Steubenville.  In addition to her parents Alberta was preceded in death by her 1st husband Walter Yingst; 2nd husband Leonard Woods and her brother William F. Smith.  She is survived by her son Jeffrey A. Yingst of Columbus, OH; sisters Marjorie Giannamore of Columbus, OH, Betty (Earl) Patterson of Marysville, OH and Carol (Mark) Gilmore of Elizabeth City, NC; several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home, 611 N. 4th Street, Steubenville, OH on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from Noon until time of service 2p.m. with Pastor Steve Modranski officiating. Burial will be private.
