Alan D. Campbell, 89, of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, August 14, 2006 at Trinity West. He was born November 19, 1916 in New Cumberland, WV a son of the late Ross and Anna Richardson Campbell. He was a 1935 graduate of Steubenville High School and served in the US Navy. Alan was the retired supervisor of Weirton Steel Co. 48 Inch Strip Steel Dept. He was a member of Weirton Lodge 171 AF&AM; Osiris Temple in Wheeling; past president of Northern Panhandle Shrine Club and past secretary of the Tin Lizzie Patrol. Preceding Alan in death was his brother Ray. Surviving are his wife Mary Vukelic Campbell. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Rade Merick officiating.
