Agnes S. (Zackiewicz) Zascavage 88 of Steubenville died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, OH on October 6, 1915 a daughter of the late Michael and Susannah Marzetz Chmelovski. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Steubenville, Catholic Women’s Club, Rosary Society and had been a Steubenville Catholic Central Band Booster. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Boleslaus “Ben” Zascavage on February 14, 1991, brothers William, Eddie and Jerry Chmelovski, a sister Bessie Ronevich Tomassi, grandson Bernard Zascavage, great granddaughter Kami Drabick. She is survived by son Bernard B. (Mary Lue) Zascavage of Steubenville, daughters Suzanne (William) Allen of Westminster, CO, Stephanie (Ronald) Bourquin of Zoar, OH, Aggie (Earl) Smith and Mary Ann (Ronald) Wright, both of Wintersville, 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be Thursday at 9:30a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Steubenville with Msgr. George Yontz and Rev. Richard Tuttle officiating. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Dillonvale, OH. Vigil services 3:45p.m. on Wednesday.
