Adrian L. “Mac” McQuistion, 90 of Columbus, Ohio died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Villas at St. Therese Assisted Living Center. He was born August 2, 1925 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Theodore & Clara Byrne McQuistion. A career military man, Mac retired from the US Army as a First Sergeant and served in WWII. He was a member of Association of US Army and Knights of Columbus.
Preceding Mac in death were his wife Philamena H. Polsinelli McQuistion on June 21, 2001; son-in-law MSG (R) Richard Gray and sister Marjorie Schiffman.
He is survived by his son Michael (Vickie) McQuistion; daughters Anita McQuistion, Melanie Gray, LTG (R) Patricia McQuistion & her husband Col. Leif Johnson, Kathleen (Mitchell) Fries, Bernadette (Mark) Mulholand and Carol McQuistion-Marquise; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and his sister Sr. Thea McQuistion.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Wednesday 6-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Vigil services 7:45 p.m. Wednesday
