Adelia Lena Munis, age 89, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Friday, October 21, 2005, at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville. She was born in Mingo Junction on Dec. 17, 1915, the daughter of the late Frank and Antonetta Lugano. Also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Munis, Sr. on Aug. 12, 1978; three brothers, Alfonse, Dominic and Albert Lugano; and three sisters, Irene Caputo, Hilda Tepovich and Mary Drzayich. She was Catholic by faith and attended St. Agnes Catholic Church and the Mingo Senior Citizens. Survived by a son, Daniel L. Munis, Jr. and daughter-in-law Patricia of Wintersville; two sisters, Rose Davis of Canton, Ohio, and Amelia DiCarlo of Mingo Junction; two grandchildren, Jodi (Tom) Dye of Bloomingdale and Jennifer (Dan) Shane of Steubenville; and three great-grandchildren, Skyler and Shelby Dye and Logan Shane. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Rev. James Dunfee to officiate. Burial at Fort Steuben.
