Mildred Vance 85 of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Weirton, WV died Friday, April 5, 2002 at Trinity West, Steubenville, OH. She was born in McKeesport, PA on January 17, 1917 a daughter of the late Mojsije and Simica Divich Marovich. Mildred and her late husband Sam were the retired co-owners and operators of Cameo Restaurant, Weirton, WV and was a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Steubenville and Vidovdan Kolo. She was preceeded in death by her husband Samuel J. Vance, whom she married on October 30, 1938, on November 17, 2001 and two brothers Nick Marovich and Dr. Samuel Marvin. Surviving are one daughter Sheila Milic and her husband Dr. Milorad M. Milic of Steubenville, OH; one son John Samuel Vance of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three grandchildren Marc Vance Milic, Michelle M. Milic and Samuel Vance Milic. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Sunday 6-9 p.m. On Monday, friends may call at Holy Resurrection Serbian Church, Steubenville, OH. from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rade Merick officiating. Burial at Serbian Cemetery, Weirton, WV. Pomen services 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Resurrection Church or Petar Krstich Choir.
