Michael M. Kvocka 91 of Columbus, Ohio died late Thursday evening at Kobacker House, Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on August 11, 1910 a son of the late Milan and Kata Tepovac Kvocka. He was a member of St. Stevan Serbian Orthodox Church, Columbus, Ohio; Serbian National Federation Lodge 231; Lifetime member of Polar Bear Alumni Assn.; York Lodge #563 F & AM; Kappa Phi Kappa and Epsilon Tau Fraternities and served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy during WWII. Mike was preceeded in death by two brothers Dmitar and Sam Kvocka and two sisters Helen Kvocka and Sophia Chuich. Surviving are his wife of sixty-eight years Mildred S. “Millie” Medich Kvocka; one brother Eli (Millie) Kvocka of Steubenville and one sister Mildred Snyder of Steubenville; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Monday 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Rade Merick officiating. Burial at Serbian Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio. Memorial contributons may be made to the Heart ED Capitol Campaign at Riverside Hospital, 3535 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43214 OR St. Stevan Church.
