Bertha “Barb” Dojonovic Drzayich 84 of Steubenville, OH died Friday April 5, 2002 at Tilden House, Irondale, OH. She was born in Mingo Junction, Ohio on January 7, 1918 a daughter of the late Milovan Dojonovic and the late Anna Visnic Dojonovic Vitas. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Steubenville and the Sveta Petka Kolo. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother Barb is survived by her husband Peter whom she married on September 2, 1939; two daughters Joann (Richard) Jenikovsky and Beverly (Michael) Bise of Steubenville; three grandsons Richard (Eadie) Jenikovsky of Moon Township, PA, Michael Bise of Charlotte, NC and Jason Bise of Cleveland, OH; one granddaughter Christina (John) Lisciandro of Ashburn, VA; three great grandchildren; one brother Michael Dojonovic of Plum, PA; numerous nieces and nephews and several cousins. She was preceeded in death by her stepfather Nick Vitas; three brothers Bert Dojonovic, John Dojonovic and Nick Vitas; and four sisters Mary Vitas Licina, Mildred Dojonovic Munas, Sue Dojonovic Yaksich and Daisy Vitas. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rade Merick officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, OH Pomen services 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
